Chomomile Oil Roman is used in aromatherapy in the belief it is a calming agent to reduce stress and promote sleep. Chamomile essential oil contains sesquiterpenes, terpene lactones (including the blue compound, chamazulene), acetylene derivatives, and polyphenols, which contribute to the fragrance and may be extracted individually.
Chamomile Oil Roman (aromatherapy)
Roman Chamomile Oil is a pale blue, mobile liquid (when fairly fresh) of sweet herbaceous, somewhat fruity-warm and tealeaf-like odor. The odor is extremely diffusive but it has little tenacity. The flavor of the oil is somewhat bitter, chemical or medicinal, but also fruityherbaceous, warm.
