The newly created Augasorb Bitter Orange Flower flavour and fragrance ingredient has been produced by a novel extraction method, isolating the definitive suite of aromatic components from Citrus aurantium sub. Amara, whilst retaining an aroma true to the original material; without the need of traditional methods of production that utilise hazardous or expensive solvents.
This material is commonly used in flavourings for orange flavoured alcoholic beverages; and fragrances requiring sweet and floral characteristics, whilst also possessing the bitter note that is typical of the flower.
